Join the SEMBA committee for Parma Tuesday at Sonder Bar in Bentleigh.  Help us with our event planning for the rest of 2025, or simply enjoy someone else cooking and doing the washing up while you chat to other twin parents! Parmas are $20 (full menu also available) and drinks at bar prices.

The SEMBA AGM will be held on Wednesday 2 July from 7:30pm at Godfrey Street Community House in Bentleigh. At the meeting we will elect the committee for the next 12 months, as well as take time to celebrate the achievements of our club against our organisational goals, as well as the areas in which we would like to make improvements. We know that learning you're expecting multiples can feel overwhelming or even daunting. That's exactly why we created this space to chat. The SEMBA Committee invite all our lovely mums to join us for a special afternoon tea, to celebrate Mother's Day. Tickets are only $25, subsidised by the club, which includes an individual plate of high tea and a coffee or tea of your choice. We also have a small gift for our attendees. We hope you can join us for this opportunity to take a short break from nappy changing, feeding, and cleaning up after little people, while connecting with other mums of multiples. Tickets are on sale until Monday 28th April, and are limited to 20 people. Please email any dietary requirements to Louise at camnlou@gmail.com, also by Monday 28th April.

The SEMBA committee look forward to once again hosting our annual Easter Family Picnic on Sunday March 30th. A FREE event for our members to help us connect and touch base with other families of multiples.  Bring your picnic rug and enjoy the sausage sizzle, face painting, and Easter egg hunt (about 11.30am). It's also a wonderful opportunity to catch up with old and new friends, and hopefully pick-up some hand-me-down goods. We will bring a number of cardboard boxes labelled by age group. If you have clothes or other hand-me-downs in good condition, please bring them along and put them in the relevant boxes for another family to use. A great way to reuse items and a win for the environment and our families’ budgets. This event is reserved for current SEMBA members; however you are welcome to bring along grandparents / additional adults to help out with your little ones. Tickets MUST be pre-booked via the 'Get Tickets' link for catering and insurance purposes. Here you can indicate how many adults and children will be coming, along with any dietary requirements you may have (we will do our best to cater accordingly). Please RSVP by Wednesday 26th March. This will allow us to get everyone catered for and make sure the Easter bunny has enough eggs to hide. We are excited to once again be hosting a 'Bubs and Bumps' morning tea for SEMBA members who are expecting their multiples or with babies aged 12 months or under. We hope you can join us for a cuppa, morning tea and chat at committee member Tara’s house in Caulfield East (address to be sent on RSVP) on Wednesday 19th February. These morning teas are a great way to meet and connect with other SEMBA members who have babies of a similar age, while having someone else make you a hot drink! We know twin babies means our members are likely to have lots of different schedules, so feel free to arrive anytime that suits you between 10am - 1pm. Morning tea provided - be sure to RSVP so that we can cater accordingly, either via this post or by emailing secretary@semba.amba.org.au. Please advise if you have any dietary requirements. Expectant Parents - online chat on what to expect when pregnant with multiples Please join us for this popular antenatal information session, where we talk about the amazing world of multiples for parents anticipating the arrival of their babies. This session is hosted by members of the SEMBA committee who have all had twins. We will talk about our collective experiences, including how to manage expectations, things to consider before, during, and after the birth of your multiples and hope to answer any questions from attendees.
